The Roma Memorial University Scholarship (RMUSP-Core Program) offers a merit-based open competition for academic scholarships for Roma students, citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia or Turkey. As of 2009 the Program has extended to Albania. Eligible applicants must be pursuing BA, MA/MS or PhD degrees at state-accredited and well-acknowledged universities in their home country or country of residence. Law and Humanities Program Offers a merit-based open competition for academic scholarships for Roma students, citizens of Moldova, Russia and Ukraine.
Eligible applicants must be pursuing BA, MA/MS or PhD degrees at state-accredited and well-acknowledged universities in their home country or country of residence. Roma Supplementary Scholarship Grant Programme is designed to provide partial support to Roma students who are citizens of one of the following countries: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Kosovo, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Turkey, or Ukraine, for pursuing Bachelor, Master, Ph.D or Postdoctoral education as full-time students at a recognized and well-established university outside of their home country or their country of residence. Starting with the academic year 2010-2011 Roma Education Fund Scholarships Programme (REF/SP) decided to merge the previous Interregional and Supplementary Scholarship Programmes under Roma Supplementary Scholarship Grant Programme (RSSGP). Professional Development Fund The purpose of the Professional Development Fund is to support the participation of the RMUSP and LHP Scholars in activities such as research projects, fellowship programs, summer schools, Internships or language courses within recognized universities, language school and other organizations in their own countries or abroad in the 2008-2009 academic year. The Roma Health Scholarship Program (RHSP) supports Roma Students who are pursuing or seek to pursue Medical Education in Romania and Bulgaria in order to attain degrees of Medical Nurses and Medical doctors at State accredited and recognized Medical and Medical-vocation schools. The funds for the RHSP come from Roma Education Fund (REF) and Open Society Institute (OSI). In 2010 RHSP will be extended to two more countries in the region.
