Internship At the Roma Education Fund (REF)

Internship are an important component of REF activity as it allows young educated Roma to get acquainted with the REF and issues related to education of the Roma people. It also helps the REF to establish a network of young and dynamic people that can, after working with the REF, support in various ways the objective of the Fund and Roma inclusion in education systems.

REF has two interns position for three months period, part time or full time. The interns are selected based on the following three criteria: They have to be Roma, they have to have been involved in Roma education issues in the past  (studies, volunteer work, professional work ) and they have to demonstrate a strong interest for these issues.

Candidates also need a valid visa for Hungary as student or resident for the whole duration of the internship.

Selection  is done two weeks before an intern position becomes avaiable. Interested candidates should contact REF to know when positions will be available.  Interested candidates should send a CV and a letter indicating their interest, the reasons they want to learn more on Roma education and their availability.
