The Roma Education Fund is present in 16 countries and provided €8.1 million in 2017 to Roma organizations, Roma education-related projects and beneficiaries of educational programs.

The Roma Education Fund is present in 16 countries and provided €8.1 million in 2017 to Roma organizations, Roma education-related projects and beneficiaries of educational programs. REF is present in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Kosovo*, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Hungary, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Turkey and the Ukraine, providing grants for and implementing programs in early childhood development, primary, secondary and tertiary education, and adult education also, to enable Romani individuals and communities to overcome the segregation and discrimination they face in schools and the labor markets.
