SUPPORT REF 2005-2015

Why and How To Support The Roma Education Fund?

Despite, or even because of today’s global economic crisis, the demand for REF’s services is expected to increase during the coming years. This trend has already been demonstrated by the heavily increasing number of grant applications received in the past few years.

REF must go on, however, supported by as many partners and donors as possible. REF has been set up as a partnership of governments, NGOs and development agencies in Central, Eastern and South-East Europe in 2005.  Now, this partnership also includes the private sector through individuals, companies, and foundations. This shows that commitment indeed exists outside of REF and the international development community.  We trust that this commitment will enable REF continue with its mission of reducing the education outcome gap between Roma and non-Roma and ultimately, making our world more equal and livable.

There is, thus, a great need for the contribution you may offer to REF. No matter how modest it is, we hope that we can also count on your support!

You may offer your donation to the Swiss or Hungarian Roma Education Fund, as per your convenience and more favorable taxation condition. The bank data for both foundations (non-profit) can be found below.
